“As the only bass-guitarist in my family I wanted to pay homage to Jamaican musicians that have come before me.Sorrel Sights uses a burgundy almost sorrel-colored guitar as a canvas for a vinyl decal portrait of the great Aston Barrett, a well established Jamaican guitarist who passed away in 2024.
He played in a notable Jamaican band known as Bob Marley & The Wailers, many of their songs I listened to growing up. Their punchy baselines led me to want to learn how to play bass guitar.”
